  • Residential Heat Pump Installation

Heat pumps are designed to save you more on the cost of heating. A heat pump is most efficient when the outside temperature is above 30 degrees. When the outdoor temperature is below 30 degrees, the back-up heating system will kick in. Back-up heat systems typically consist of electric heat or gas heat. If you go with a gas back- up heating system, this is commonly known as a dual-fuel heating system. Choosing a higher SEER rating when installing a heat pump system will save you on energy costs in air conditioning as well.

  • Daikin Heat Pumps

A heat pump is a mechanical-compression cycle refrigeration system that can be reversed to either heat or cool a controlled space. Installation of this type of system consists of two parts: an indoor unit called an air handler and an outdoor unit similar to an air conditioner, but referred to as a heat pump. A compressor circulates refrigerant to absorbs and release heat as it travels between the indoor and outdoor units. Think of a heat pump as a heat transporter, constantly moving warm air from one place to another. Even in cold air, heat energy is present. When it’s cold outside, a heat pump extracts this outside heat and transfers it inside. When it’s warm outside, it reverses directions and acts like an air conditioner, removing heat from your home. • Geothermal Heat Pumps

Experience matters when installing a Geothermal System. Rehagen Heating and Cooling has been installing WaterFurnace ground source heat pumps for over 28 years. We have reached top sales in the Midwest with WaterFurnace for the past 7 Years, having installed over 2,500 Units in total. No matter what climate you live in, the temperature throughout the year varies. For some climates, that means blazing summers that cool to frigid winters. What many people don't realize is that the temperature below ground (regardless of climate or season) stays fairly consistent all year. While air temperatures can vary greatly from day to night or winter to summer, the temperature just a few feet below the earth's surface stays an average 55°-70°F year-round.

  • Gas Furnace Installation

Installing a gas furnace correctly ensures you reach the maximum efficiency from your unit. Rehagen Heating and Cooling is proud to offer Daikin Gas Furnaces. They offer a wide variety of modern forced air HVAC systems that feature advanced technology and play a larger role in your indoor comfort and fuel bill year-round. To earn a high AFUE rating, every Daikin brand gas furnace is engineered with a heat exchanger construction from tubular stainless steel. Often matched with split air conditioner systems, today’s furnaces not only do a great job of keeping your home warm during the winter, but also assist the air conditioning system in circulating cooled air during warmer seasons. The two-stage or variable-speed blower for your furnace means it runs at a steady pace, providing much higher efficiency in all our home furnaces. This intelligent system means improved comfort and lower energy bills for you. Daikin also stands by their equipment by offering a 12-year warranty on parts and a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger. Rehagen Installation Consultants will be happy to help you find the right heating solution for your home.

  • Air Handler and Coils

Air handlers are designed to work with your outdoor air conditioner or heat pump system. Rehagen Heating & Cooling installation consultants are qualified to size the proper air handler for your home. An important component to your air handler is the fan motor or blower motor. When choosing an air handler, things to look at are the size of the coil, fan motor speeds and quality of the coil. Installing an aluminum coil from Daikin is key to sustaining a long life of your coil. The function of an evaporator coil is the warm air passes over the cold coils, cooling the air and removing humidity. Installing a high-efficiency air handler and coil is a prime way to get the highest level of comfort from your central air conditioning or heat pump system.
