I would like my patients to know that I am here to work with them and to provide services that they think are culturally competent, are structured in a way that fit their needs, and that I?m here to serve as a partner to them, not just as a provider. I want there to be open lines of communication and to know that in my office they will be respected regardless of their identity in multiple forms.
